The JetTrace system extends the information security coverage in the organization, beyond the protected digitized computerized layout, to the hardcopy printouts. Hence, allowing the distribution of sensitive and most often classified hard copies documents - in a protected & secure manner.

The JetTrace system enables all organizational applications, irrespective of the computerized environments, operating systems, or networking infrastructure, to automatically integrate secure classified dynamic data in documents intended for printing on the standard office laser printers. The classified information is encoded by a unique multi-layer encryption algorithm (128 bit) and printed on the document in a two-dimensional barcode format that takes up only a limited portion of the page while utilizing standard printer supplies. This barcode can be retrieved easily by using a standard barcode reader with the uniquely developed decryption software application.

In addition, to increasing the ability of identifying the initiator of the document being printed, JetTrace can automatically integrate within the 2-D barcode tracing information which will identify the document origin (printing date & time, user login, computer name and more).

Furthermore, JetTrace enables the integration of the organizational logo or watermark in each and every page of the documents, automatically adjusting to page orientation.
